Don’t want to leave your loved one in a kennel or a day care?  Can’t find a quiet, clean and home-style place with lots of personal human interaction for your dog in the Tampa area? Look no further! We invite you to experience the difference in WestFetch dog boarding. (But don’t believe just us, see our testimonials for what our customers are saying.) WestFetch offers clean, quiet, personal and exclusive care for your little furry one. We “adopt” your dog into our home and treat them as one of the family. This is a much more relaxing and personal environment versus a kennel or day care which will likely have dozens of dogs under their care that are kept in cages or runs. Not only will it be a much quieter stay if your dog prefers a “small pack” and family environment, your pet will not be exposed to the many potential ailments and diseases often found and spread in kennels (kennel cough, worms, etc).  And for the more active dog, we have a fenced-in back yard, a pool with beach entry and lots of toys to play with (oh, and our dog, Dante, who loves to play too!). Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or to check availability.  We accept all sorts of dogs, from big to small and puppies to seniors (we’ve even watched a pup owned by a Rays baseball player). Please note that our capacity is intentionally very limited to ensure plenty of personal time and attention with your pet.  Our rates are very competitive with other dog boarding facilities and kennels but your pet will get so much more love and attention at WestFetch. NOW AVAILABLE! Our pool is completed and is ready for fun! No extra charges, just lots of fun and play in the water...if your dog likes to anyways. PLEASE NOTE: Holidays book up quickly. We highly recommend making reservations as far in advance as possible.

Hurricane Protection

In the event of a hurricane, we will ensure the safety of your pet.  Depending on the category of the hurricane we will either care for them in our home or ensure a safe evacuation.  We will not vacate your pet and contact you to arrange for a safe haven (unless directed otherwise). We want you to rest assured your pet is safe in our hands.

Whomever you choose to board your pet with, please ensure to ask about their plan of action in the event of a hurricane, even if it is a friend or family member. One of the many lessons learned from Katrina is having a plan for your pet. There was plenty of news coverage documenting the many thousands of pets abandoned or killed during and after Katrina.

• Second pet discounted $10/night
• 10% discount for stays of seven (7) nights or more
• Add $5/night for puppies under one (1) year of age
• Add $5/night for the following holidays:
• Memorial Day Weekend (Fri - Sun)
• Labor Day Weekend (Fri - Sun)
• Independence Day, (July 2nd - July 4th, 2010)
• Thanksgiving Weekend (Wed - Sat)
• Christmas (Dec 20th - Jan 2nd, 2011)
• Check In and Check Out
• Appointments required for both please
• Check in/out anytime between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, any day
• $20 charge for pick up after 12:00PM
• Additional night charged for pick up after 5:00PM

There are NO application fees nor any other day care or “test run” fees. We just request a brief visit with your pet before their first stay. This will allow us to meet you and your pet to ensure a healthy and happy stay.  It also allows you the comfort of seeing our environment, asking any questions you may have as well as giving your pet the opportunity of familiarizing themselves with the new surroundings before their stay (ie, it is not a “cold” drop off).
