If you are interested in a position with WestFetch and meet the requirements listed below, please email us a copy of your resume along with a completed application (see below).  Even if we do not have any current open positions, we will keep your info on file and should anything open up, we will contact you.

All applicants must:

  • Have a clean background (background check is required)
  • Have experience with pets, either professionally or personally
  • Be passionate about pets
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Have a cell phone
  • Have local references
  • Have a computer with internet and email access
  • Be able to work independently
  • Be looking for part-time, supplemental income
  • Be capable of handling and controlling a variety of breeds
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills

We also offer the opportunity of boarding dogs in your home. There is a special section on the application for interested parties.  There are several strict requirements in order to qualify. You must have all of the requirements above, PLUS:

  • Be a homeowner
  • Have at least one responsible adult that is at home most of the time (work from home, retired)
  • Have a fenced back yard with room to play
  • Not have any small children in the home
  • Be a non-smoking home
  • Have a neat, clean and presentable home
  • Maintain a pet friendly yard (no poisonous plants, rubber mulch, holes in the fence, etc)
  • Live in a dog-friendly neighborhood
  • If owned, have friendly and socialized pets that will be open to sharing their space with outside dogs
